Now Hiring - Event Planner (6 Months)

Walk DVRC Ltd is hiring an Event Planner for a 6-month project from January to June 2019.

This temporary, 6-month assignment offers an excellent opportunity to work on an exciting, large-scale project that benefits all of Hong Kong.

• Manage a large project budget on a day-to-day basis
• Liaise with of a number of outside service providers, including traffic consultants, architects, security companies, entertainment programmers and F & B vendors
• Coordinate the work and processes of external parties
• Provide detailed, regular reports of project advancement
• Continually monitor and update progress with a view to relevance, trouble-shooting problems, mitigating risk, managing change and recommending process improvement
• Ensure project components are delivered to a high-quality standard, within budget and on time

Required skills:
• Excellent organisation and project management skills
• Accounting or other experience with managing a large budget
• Good negotiation skills across diverse stakeholder groups
• The ability to carry out a number of tasks at the same time
• Good communication and people skills
• A creative approach to problem solving
• A high level of attention to detail
• The ability to adhere to strict deadlines
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Adept with the Microsoft Office suite
